JULES LEYSER was a member of the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and attained diplomas from LAMDA and Guildhall before reading English at Trinity College, Oxford. After extensive work in theater including leading roles in Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Crucible, Marat/Sade, Once a Catholic, Fiddler on the Roof, Electra, Richard III and Chicago, she wrote and performed a one woman show, All Words for Sex, for which she was awarded the Best Actress Award at the Edinburgh Festival and which later transferred to London’s West End.

While studying at Oxford, Jules was a finalist in the Channel 4 Young Screenwriter Award. Jules has appeared on TV in the UK and the US in a wide variety of shows including Coupling, High Stakes, Grease Monkeys, London’s Burning, Night & Day, Adventure Inc and 7th Heaven. Jules currently lives in Los Angeles where she writes as well as performs.
