MIKE VOGEL is a talented young actor who is certainly one to watch. His next project will be Warner Brothers’ POSEIDON directed by Wolfgang Peterson and you can catch Mike on video in Warner Brothers’ SISTERHOOD OF THE
TRAVELING PANTS.
Mike will star in the independent film HAVOC along with Anne Hathaway. HAVOC is Academy Award-winning writer Stephen Gaghan’s vision of teen culture as it clashes with the real world of urban Latino gangsters. He was also recently seen alongside Darryl Hannah and Steve Howey in SUPERCROSS: THE MOVIE in which he played one of two brothers making their way into the world of competitive motorcycle racing. Definitely making a name for himself, Vogel starred in 3 films in 2004, including Warner Brothers’ THE GRIND, MTV’s WUTHERING HEIGHTS, and New Line Cinema’s box-office hit re-make of THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE. The film was directed by award winning commercial director Marcus Nispel and produced by Michael Bay.
Hailing from the small town of Abington, Pennsylvania, Vogel spent a year commuting to New York City for auditions to pursue his career in acting. By the end of the year, he booked a recurring role on the hit Fox series "Grounded for Life" which spawned his move to Los Angeles, where he currently resides.
